VenerableUlfric: Garriths mutters softly in his sleep, tossing from his right side to his back. He moans gently in his sleep and returns his hand to his left side.
WhiteKnight8103: "Whats so bad about it?" Nick asks, relieving the mug of its last amounts of tea, finally leaving his hair alone.
Vicious8899: Dan continues to sip slowly at his tea as he listens intently.

WhiteKnight8103: "Even before those people started poking around that place was haunted.... the dead walkin' 'round all the time..."

VenerableUlfric: Garrith lets out a particularly loud snore and his eyes snap open. As if startled he glances about the room.

Vicious8899: Dan pushes himself up and paces over to Garrith as he sips down the last of his tea, "Feeling any better my friend?"
WhiteKnight8103: Nick stands up, with his hands on the table, staring at the lines in the wood.
WhiteKnight8103: "What did you mean, strange company?" Nick asks.
VenerableUlfric: "What's going on? .. Why am i sleeping here whilst there is some work to be done?! Garrith exclaims, as he tries to rise to a sitting position in his bed, wincing all the way up.
WhiteKnight8103: "Gnolls. The holy men have gnolls following 'em 'round. And they look more like people than most..."
Vicious8899: "Because you got hurt rather badly. Now be careful."
WhiteKnight8103: "This just keeps getting better and better. First a dragon, then clerics, and now gnollish company."

VenerableUlfric: Holding his left side, Garrith observes the ongoings in the room before looking at Danielson, "Whats going on here? Why are they talking about Gnolls?" Garrith asks Dan.
WhiteKnight8103: "Del, what do you mean, more like people?" Nick asks, looking up at the man.
WhiteKnight8103: "They don't look like your common dumb rudimentory gnolls....they have good armor, and weapons...almost like 'dey have beem given dem."
VenerableUlfric: Garrith turns his gaze upon Del, "Perhaps they are half ... human."
Vicious8899: Dan crouches next to Garrith and explains quietly about the shrooms needed being in the moathouse, the clerics, and the dragon.
WhiteKnight8103: Del stands and goes around, lighting a candle with a tindertwig before lighting the other candles and lanterns.
VenerableUlfric: Garrith responds to Dan, "So now we are just sitting here trying to figure out what our next plan is?" Garrith winces as he holds his left side once more.
WhiteKnight8103: "Ye should stay the night, wanderin 'round a night is no good 'ere" Del says.
Vicious8899: Danielson nods solemnly.
WhiteKnight8103: Nick lets out a heavy sigh.

Vicious8899: Danielson stands up and says, "Do you really think we could take down a dragon at night with you in that condition?" as he shakes his head
VenerableUlfric: "All i have been hearing is Del here.. is it? .. trying to convince us not to go... telling us all the reasons to not go... And not telling us the way we can go."

Vicious8899: Dan pulls a piece of paper and an inkpen out of his pouch and sets it on the table
WhiteKnight8103: "Any ink?"
WhiteKnight8103: Del asks.
VenerableUlfric: Garrith grins, "As a matter of fact we do. " Garrith winks at Dan as he watches him pull out his parchment and pen."
Vicious8899: Dan laughs and mutters to himself as he pulls out a vile of ink
WhiteKnight8103: Del picks up the pen in his left hand, removes the stopper to the vial of ink and begins to write out a map.
WhiteKnight8103: As he goes, he says, "This here is the path. You must follow it. It don't trail of anywhere, so don't worry.."
WhiteKnight8103: He continues, drawing a large square at the end of the path.
WhiteKnight8103: "If I recall, the bridge is rotted away, you will probably need some other way across. There is a small moat 'round the place"
VenerableUlfric: Watching Del draw the map, Garrith watches Del for any hesitation of his drawing.
WhiteKnight8103: "I reckon the dragon is just inside, so I'd be careful. The roof is collapsed and so are the towers.
WhiteKnight8103: I think ye kids will find it easy to get in though, supposing that blue dragon don't stop ya."
VenerableUlfric: Garrith ponders, "Not much of a shelter if the roof of the place is collapsed.... What about the Gnolls Del?"
WhiteKnight8103: "Now, I've never been in dat basement, but I can draw ye the upperfloor as I recall, if ye wish"
WhiteKnight8103: "I'm sure dey went to the basement."
VenerableUlfric: "Do you recall seeing them anywhere in the perimeter outside the moat? ,.. Any patrols?" Garrith presses.
WhiteKnight8103: "Come to think of it, since that dragon has come I havent seen any of dem folks. I bet he's got them all holed up in dat basement...he prolly can't fit down the bloody stairs with those wings..."
WhiteKnight8103: Del says, having himself a chuckle.
WhiteKnight8103: "Nah, I saw dem go in. Then that dragon came barreling down, so I ran. Oh boy did I run."
VenerableUlfric: Garrith smirks, "Perhaps he cant fit down or up the stairs anymore because of his belly.... Perhaps he is keeping them for snacks."
WhiteKnight8103: "If the dragon has them holed up then they wouldnt be patrollin the outsides of the place I should think."
Vicious8899: Dan stands up muttering and then looks around and says, "Hey Del, you have an outhouse or something?"
WhiteKnight8103: "Indeed young'un, I reckon he probably is savin 'em. But they may never come up for him to eat if they know he's there."
VenerableUlfric: Garrith leans back in his bed rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

VenerableUlfric: Garrith leans close to nick and whispers, "You know.. we need to think this through Sir Nick, What are the Gnolls doing there? ... Why is the dragon there? ... Perhaps the Dragon is protecting its hoard."
WhiteKnight8103: Del smiles. "Would ye like a candle or a lantern?"

VenerableUlfric: "Perhaps.. the gnolls went there to steal his treasure and that is why the dragon is there keeping them inside... trying to starve them out?" Garrith finishes his whisper and then leans back contemplating and gauging Nick

WhiteKnight8103: "Oh, big enough to eat me I should think! But he hasn't lived here long, he came just 'bout a week ago me thinks."

VenerableUlfric: Garrith leans forward slightly, "Del, How long ago did you start seeing the Gnolls and the strangers?"
Vicious8899: Dan continues out into the woods and sets the lantern down a few yards away from the hut and sits down for a minute
WhiteKnight8103: "Well, the first lot of them came passin through here at night 'bout a month ago. I though dem people would burn down me hut, luckily they didn't see it or me."
VenerableUlfric: Garrith glances at Nick nervously for a moment.
Vicious8899: (I'm going to poke around outside the hut, just so you know)
WhiteKnight8103: "Haven't seen them at all, but a second lot came bout a little over a week ago. Just before I saw da dragon"

VenerableUlfric: Garrith gazes at Nick for a long moment in silent contemplation.

WhiteKnight8103: It is dark and grassy outside the hut. A light gleam comes from the windows, which is barely visible as you move through the foilage.
Vicious8899: Dan stands up and walks a few yards away from the lantern and pulls out his everburning torch and looks around
WhiteKnight8103: (again, with dan here) You see something small moving in front of you, about forty feet away. You can definitely make out it is a humanoid wielding a spear.
WhiteKnight8103: You don't think it has noticed you, though you are not sure. It appears to be walking towards the hut, slowly.
Vicious8899: Dan moves silently towards the humanoid to try and get a better look.
WhiteKnight8103: (whats your move silent? I roll)

WhiteKnight8103: You trail behind it, torch still blazing. It alters its course, backtracking a bit near the lantern. As you get a closer glimpse you notice it doesnt wield a spear, but a large axe and a shield. You recognize it to be a gnoll.

WhiteKnight8103: Del says, "So what are you kids going to do?"

VenerableUlfric: "Nick" Garrith says for a moment, motioning him closer.
WhiteKnight8103: "If ye can get the shroom I can whip up the mixure and take it to ye father."
WhiteKnight8103: Nick nods to Del and moves closer to garrith.
WhiteKnight8103: (it is a quarter moon, the tree's are not too dense, but not scarce either)
VenerableUlfric: Garrith whispers once more into Nick's Ear, "My theory on why they are there does not hold up under the new knowledge Del has bestowed us with... Why would they be at the site a ful three weeks before the dragon was...
VenerableUlfric: There is definately something mysterious about that basement... we need to be carefuly if and when we enter that place."

VenerableUlfric: Garrith wanders over to several of the gnolls with Nick and searchs the gnolls bodies for any clues or items of value they happen to have upon them.
WhiteKnight8103: "Indeed. They wander 'round, mostly at night. I wouldn't know what they were had they not been so common," he replies.
WhiteKnight8103: On two of the gnolls you find a melted pile gold and silver.
WhiteKnight8103: The others only carry their weapons, except for one, which had an emerald gem.
Vicious8899: "Do any of these look like the ones with that were with the cleric?" Danielson says as he looks over the charred corpses
WhiteKnight8103: "For the life of me I can't really remember, but these fellows look like common ones 'round here. Like I said before, the ones with da holy men had better gear than most, and these fellows look to have the primitive gear."

VenerableUlfric: "It might come in useful later.. it is gold and silver afterall... It might be tempting to a dragon perhaps.. if its not too paltry... if the rumours about those dragon are true."

VenerableUlfric: "I think i shall pass on the roast Del, I am worn out from the battle.. i need rest." Garrith says tiredly as he picks up the gold and silver and begins to walk towards the open door of the shed.
