End of the Day

So, just a few impressions (or expressions?) I feel are worth noting. First, at 7 there was a GSA meeting. It happened to be the first I’ve attended, and definitely not the last. Its a very fun environment, along with tasty snacks. However, we need a few more people I wish to talk to in it. In any event, it will be nice to have something besides bowling (if I decided to pick that up again) since PLAAD is now gone.

Second, I’ve decided to wing my homework during fourth hour (and part of fifth if need be) tomorrow, as opposed to doing it now. If I can get to sleep by midnight I may be able to get up early enough to catch McDonald’s for breakfast. Maybe not, dunno.

Third, and last for now, I had a thought today while reading Sphere by Michael Critchton. It made me think back on dimensions. Sadly I didn’t have anyone that would really explore this thought with me. The thought was, simply put (for lack of time and the fact I’m tired):

I’m fairly certain you can represent a 4-D (that is, four dimension’s) figure in a 3-D plane. I was thinking of it in terms of 2/3 dimensions. Say you take a photograph. That is a 3-D representation on a 2-D plane. Or various drawings that emulate depth. Supposing we knew what the fourth dimension was, I believe it would be possible to emulate it within a 3-D plane (say, ours?).

This of course builds on the fact that we know -what- the fourth dimension is. Most people (and things I’ve read) believe it to be time, which is kind of boggling as you think of ways to represent time in 3-D.
