Journal 5 – Realization

I have come to a realization this past year. Life is not so daunting. It is do able. It is a matter of priorities. School is not impossible, nor is it worthless. It provides you with the ability to further your knowledge and help you in the future.
In the end, our lives our worthless. Everyone knows this. No one can live forever, nor should you wan’t to. As I’ve said before, and will reiterate for eternity, changing history is the only way to live long. Even then, you will not live forever. Do you remember the name of your great-great grandfather? If so, you are lucky, as most of us do not.
Our lives belong to the sands of time. Time is the limit of everything. The hours in the day, the years we live, and the time until we die. Since we don’t have much time, we should make the best of our lives. Throwing them away should simply not be an option. Denying yourself a proper education should not be an option either. Your life is what you make of it, and if you wish for it to be meaningful, make it meaningful. Only you can do that. Others can help, provide reassurance, “mark the path”, or show you the door. However, only you can walk through it.
There is no time to waste! Get to work.
